We are open! Come make new and delicious memories!
Congress passed the Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act (FALCPA) in 2004.
This law identified eight major food allergens: milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, and soybeans.
On April 23, 2021, the Food Allergy Safety, Treatment, Education, and Research (FASTER) Act was signed into law, which designated sesame as the ninth major food allergen recognized in the United States. This addition became effective on January 1, 2023.
A food allergy is a medical condition in which contact with certain foods triggers a harmful immune response.
This response, known as an allergic reaction, occurs because the immune system mistakenly attacks proteins in the food that are typically harmless. The proteins responsible for triggering these reactions are known as allergens.
Food allergies are a serious and potentially life-threatening medical condition that affects 33 million Americans.
In fact, 1 in every 13 children has a food allergy, which is roughly two children in every U.S. classroom. Every three minutes, someone experiences a food allergy reaction that sends them to the emergency room.
Food allergy symptoms can vary in severity, ranging from mild reactions, such as an itchy mouth or a few hives, to severe symptoms, including throat tightening and difficulty breathing.
Anaphylaxis is a severe and sudden allergic reaction that can be life-threatening. There is currently no cure for food allergies; they are managed by avoiding the problematic food(s) and learning to recognize and treat the associated symptoms.

Our facility is free from peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, gluten, eggs, crustaceans, and fish. The only items containing soy are the Let's Do Gluten Free cake and sugar cones.
To maintain a safe environment and prevent cross-contact with allergens, we provide a complimentary snack station for our employees, stocked with items free of these allergens, because we do not allow outside food containing peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, gluten, eggs, crustaceans, or fish.
In compliance with food safety regulations, all employees must wash their hands upon entering the facility and wear gloves during all food preparation and service.
We are committed to transparency in all our products. We do not incorporate any artificial dyes or flavorings and prioritize using simple, fresh ingredients.
When we do use processed ingredients, we ensure they come from companies that are free from the top 8 allergens and produced in dedicated facilities.
For detailed allergen information, please refer to our Allergen Guide. You can also visit our Ingredients page for a complete list of ingredients for each flavor, topping, and cone.
Our ice cream base is made from Chaokoh Coconut Milk, which, when produced in a commercial facility, is not cross-contacted with allergens.
We believe in complete transparency and want to acknowledge that many factory practices do not align with our morals and values. However, Chaokoh has addressed these concerns on its website.
Coconuts are classified as a "drupe" by the FDA (similar to peaches, dates, or olives, etc.) rather than as tree nuts and have been removed from the top list of allergens.

Protocol:

2. They will put on new gloves and retrieve a "soy-free only" ice cream scoop from the designated sanitized box.
3. The employee will pull a new container from the freezer and scoop the selected flavor into a bowl from the designated "soy-free only" kit.
*Please note that not all flavor selections may be available.*
We understand that there are many different combinations of food allergies, and we wish we could accommodate every single one.
If you have specific concerns, please reach out to us. We are more than happy to discuss our products and how we can ensure you feel included while keeping your safety utmost in mind.
Cross-contact occurs when one food item comes into contact with another, resulting in the mixing of their proteins. This means that each food may contain small amounts of the other, though these traces are generally invisible. Even these minute quantities can trigger allergic reactions in individuals with food allergies!
The term "cross-contact" is relatively new, and some people may still refer to it as "cross-contamination."
Yes, our sprinkles are not filtered with bone char. Our facility is free from eggs and dairy, and we do not prepare or serve any meat products. The raw cane sugar we use is Regenerative Organic Certified, non-GMO Project Verified, and Certified Vegan.
